The Artful Map

This was an assignment for Technical Illustration where we had to take an ugly generic map and turn it into something of our own. The main purpose of the assignment was to try out integrated lines within illustrator and how we could make the map into something different from what it originally was.

I enjoyed doing this map, yet at the same time loathed it because it took so freakin long LOL
Longer than it needed to, but the teacher loved how it turned out and honestly I do as well >w<
